St Pauls Bay Holidays

St Paul’s Bay Holidays – Sun and sea in historic Malta

The small town of St Paul’s Bay overlooks the sparkling blue Mediterranean waters of the bay of the same name. St Paul’s Bay adjoins Malta’s main package holiday destinations, Bugibba and Qawra, so you won’t be short of pubs, bars, eateries or action on a St Paul’s Bay holiday.

The St Paul’s name comes from the story that St Paul was shipwrecked here in 60AD and his statue stands on an island in the middle of the bay. St Paul’s Bay also has the oldest coastal tower built by the ‘Knights of Malta’ in 1610.

A long stretch of rocky coast provides good swimming and snorkelling in summer, and the area is popular with divers too. If you are craving a sandy beach, you need only hop one bay north to Mellieha Bay.
