The Vila Rosa Apartments offer a seriously impressive poolside area, with immaculately kept landscaped gardens full of native flowers and plants surrounding 2 impressive pools – one circular and one fan shaped. The large whitewashed main building of the hotel exudes elegance and Portuguese charm, while the guestrooms are very spacious, well-appointed and tastefully decorated with modern furnishings. The Vila Rosa’s location is one of its key selling points. The breath-taking seafront is within walking distance of the hotel, at around 800m. Expansive golden sands, pretty rock formations, and plenty of attractive bars and restaurants make this is a great spot for a beach holiday. The resort centre of Praia da Rocha is around 700m from the complex, with its bars, cafes and shops, and offers a lively nightlife scene in the evenings. Those looking to explore the area could easily spend a few days wandering around the nearby port town of Portimao. Portimao is famous for its fish and shopping. The dock boasts a range of excellent fish restaurants and boat trips can be arranged from the quayside here. The town’s weekly market attracts many people looking to find a bargain on leather goods, shoes and clothes.

Accommodation at the Vila Rosa consists of 42 studios and one, two and three bedroom apartments. All rooms come with well-equipped kitchenette, including stovetop, microwave, fridge, cookware and kitchen utensils, dishwasher, satellite TV, hairdryer, telephone, safety deposit box, full bathroom with WC. Most rooms come with a balcony but some may not.

 

The hotel offers a good range of facilities, starting with the two attractive outdoor swimming pool surrounded by sun terraces – the smaller circular pool being more peaceful and secluded and the larger fan-shaped pool more lively. There are 2 tennis courts for guests to use, as well as a games room, golf course nearby and Bliss Day Spa with Turkish bath. Guests can make use of the kitchen facilities in their room and opt to self-cater, or take meals in the hotel’s on-site restaurant. There is an on-site mini market providing supplies for self-caterers. Drinks are served in the Tropical Bar and Cluben Bar. There is free Wi-Fi access around the main pool and other public areas.

Children: There is a KidsWORLD children’s club operating between May and October for kids aged 3-12 year, as well as a playground, and separate children's pool.
