National Parks
The United States is home to some of the most incredible landscapes in the world. From the Grand Canyon and Yosemite in the West to the Florida everglades in the South East, the opportunities for getting up close to nature and wildlife are many and varied. In addition to the stunning landscape, Brown bears, alligators, mountain lions and dolphins can be found in the different National Parks.
Take a road trip
In the USA everyone drives, largely because the county is so vast. While public transport is very good, the freedom of having your own transport allows you to explore at your leisure. There are so many iconic drives; the Florida Keys, Route 66 from Los Angeles to Chicago and the stunning Pacific Coast in California, but even short drives can be a great adventure.
Stunning beaches
For a wonderful beach holiday, the USA fits the bill. Both California and Florida boast vast swathes of glorious white sand beaches that offer something for everyone. Whether you hope to find secluded, romantic bays, bustling beaches with every kind of water sports or family friendly beaches with plenty activities for the kids you will find them all on a USA beach holiday.
Theme Parks
The wealth of child friendly theme parks makes the USA the perfect family destination. California is home to the original Disneyland as well as Legoland and Universal studios while in Florida, Walt Disney World and Sea World are just two of the many theme parks on offer. Smaller parks can be found all over the United States.
Spectator sports
American Football, Baseball and Basketball are national institutions in the USA and even small towns are passionate about their local teams. With all the noise, colour, hot dogs, friendly rivalry and sometimes over the top sense of occasion, going along to a sports game to cheer on the local team is the ultimate American experience.

Americans love playing sport almost as much as they love to watch it. The choice on offer in the USA is probably unequalled anywhere in the world. Mountain biking, fishing, snowboarding, surfing, paragliding, sailing, kayaking, golf, tennis... If there is a sport or activity you want to try your hand at, chances are you will be able to find it in the USA and there is always some new craze to be discovered.
