Islands of Adventure is the sister park to Universal Studios. The focus is on the rides rather than shows and packs in more thrills per minute than most theme parks in the USA. The 3D Spiderman rollercoaster has to be experienced to be believed and is a must. In addition to heart stopping rides there is plenty to keep younger kids happy including the Jurassic Park River Adventure and Lost Continent.
Keep Going After Dark
Citywalk connects Universal Studios to the Islands of Adventure and offers a huge array of fun eating and drinking options in addition to great live music in the bars and buskers on the street. All tastes are catered for from burgers to fine dining and options for party loving people or a relaxing family meal. Souvenier shops and cinemas are also on hand.
Take A Trip
Route 4 is the gateway to most of Orlando's highlights. In you feel like a change of scenery then Walt Disney World is a short hop to the South. Take a drive north and you will find Winter Park, a pretty slice of old world America and Wekiwa Springs State Park, a haven for nature lovers with 7000 acres of unspoilt grounds to explore. It will seem a million miles away from the bright lights of Universal Resort.
