Sarasota Weather – Fabulous Florida sunshine
Holidays should consist of fun activities and fantastic weather and a holiday in Sarasota provides plenty of both. Sorasota’s weather combines hot sunshine and gentle sea breezes for much of the year. The long summer months can see temperatures in Sarasota reaching over the 30C mark on a daily basis. Winter months are also warm and the temperature will never usually fall below 20C at any time of the year. Sarasota does have its own wet season that stretches from July to August but rainfall will usually be short-lived and infrequent during the afternoons.
Weather in Sarasota – Hot summers perfect for the beach
Florida is well known for its hot sunny weather and the climate in Sarasota is no exception. Temperatures are at their highest between mid May to mid October where regular 30C temperatures are the norm. Don’t be surprised if the temperature does rise above the 30C mark but there will be gentle sea breezes to take the edge from the heat. Hot sunny days give the perfect excuse to head to the Gulf Coast’s white sand beaches or take a boat cruise around the keys. Sunshine levels are high and eight hours of sunshine per day is the average.
Sarasota Weather – Warm spring and autumn months
Those who prefer slightly cooler temperatures should consider a Sarasota holiday during the spring and autumn months. Temperatures at this time of the year will still be warm at around 25C to 29C and November is the driest month of the year. Sarasota’s sub tropical climate means that it can get quite humid during the summer months and some holiday makers may prefer the drier months during early spring and late autumn. Temperatures and sunshine levels will always be high no matter what time of the year you choose to holiday in Sarasota.
