Port Charlotte Holidays
Beaches and wildlife
Those looking for quiet relaxation combined with outdoor activities and wildlife should consider a holiday in Port Charlotte. Holidays here feature quiet beaches and fascinating wildlife parks around the aptly-named Peace River on the southwest Gulf Coast of Florida between Sarasota and Fort Myers. Accommodation centres on comfortable villas and low-key holiday villages along the coast away from the town centre. Port Charlotte offers the atmosphere of an old-style small Florida community rather than big crowds and lively nightlife.
