Tampa Bay is about an hour's drive from New Port Richey and has a number of sights and attractions, including the African-themed Busch Gardens, museums and the lively Ybor city with its historic centre and excellent nightlife. The theme parks of Orlando are a 2-hour drive, and the Kennedy Space Centre lies 3 hours away.
