Indian Shores Holidays

Florida beach lovers paradise
Indian Shores is located on the west coast of Florida and enjoys the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico. This small resort town is a relaxed, welcoming community boasting over two miles of sandy beach and caters for all your needs. The wider area has miles upon miles of beautiful beaches to enjoy so finding a peaceful spot is easy. Indian Shores is the ideal location for a relaxing holiday in the sun both for couples seeking a romantic getaway or families wanting to enjoy the seaside location and have access to some of Florida's top attractions.

Sand & Sports
Endless white sand beaches are the obvious attraction in Indian Shores. If soaking up the sun isn't enough, water skiing, jet skiing and powerboat rentals will satisfy the most demanding adrenalin junkie. Away from the beach the choice is equally impressive with a good range of shops and restaurants. Golf lovers are well catered for with a number of courses in the surrounding area. A day trip to Orlando offers Disney World, Sea World and Universal Orlando resort.

Take you closer to nature
Tearing yourself away from pristine beaches is worthwhile as there are two wonderful county parks just a short drive away. Right on the coast, the parks offer nature trails, hiking, swimming and picnic areas in addition to plenty of fresh sea air. Kids will love the Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary where hundreds of injured birds can be seen recuperating. Sea fishing can be enjoyed from piers or experience some of the world’s best sport fishing by boat. Indian Shores offers the ideal base to enjoy a holiday in the Sunshine State.

Weather in Indian Shores

Most British visitors flock to Florida during our cold winter season to relax on the sandy beaches and revel in the hot sunshine that the state is known for. The days are warm, with January and February seeing the lowest temperatures of 22C, an average of 7 hours of sunshine each day and very comfortable levels of humidity. March sees the temperature rise to 24C and by April and May the average high has reached 27C - 30C. Rainfall is limited during this time, with the monthly average ranging from 60mm - 80mm each month in the winter, and November being the driest month. The sea can be a little chilly in the coolest months of January and February, with average temperatures of 16C - 20C, but by March and April the waters of the Gulf have reached a pleasant 24C.

If you are hoping to find all inclusive holidays in Indian Shores we recommend you take a look at Florida package holidays featuring the top quality resort hotels, beach clubs, holiday villas and vacation resorts on Indian Shores beach.
