Weather in Duck Key

Duck Key experiences two distinct seasons - the dry season, running from November to March and the wet, from April to October. The winter is an ideal time to visit, when there is constant hot weather and little or no humidity. November sees high temperatures of 27C, and 8 hours of sunshine, with December cooling slightly to 25C. The island experiences temperatures of 24C until the end of February, accompanied by a constant 8 - 9 hours of sunshine. These warm winter days are ideal for relaxing on the beach, and the low humidity levels and cooling ocean breezes mean that conditions remain very comfortable. There is limited rain in Duck Key during this time, with around 40mm - 50mm falling each month, usually in the form of heavy showers.
