Holidays here feature one of Florida’s foremost attractions, the Kennedy Space Centre, a hugely entertaining and informative homage to NASA space exploration. Cocoa Beach also offers plenty for the wildlife enthusiast, the highlight being the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge, a vast park featuring alligators, manatees and endangered species like the bald eagle and loggerhead turtle.
A great family base for Orlando

Popular excursions include wildlife sanctuary boat trips, cruises, fishing trips and floating casinos that leave from nearby Port Canaveral.
