Holidays Options
Specialist tour operator Holiday Options has entered administration.
All the advance bookings held by the operator, which number about 1,100, have been taken over by Cambridge-based travel company Light Blue Travel.
A spokesman from Light Blue confirmed all customers would travel as planned, under the same booking conditions.Customers currently overseas will also return as planned.
Light Blue Travel is in the process of writing to Holiday Options' customers explaining the situation.
Globespan plc ceased trading on the 6th July 2010
Globespan Holidays was part of Globespan Group Plc which was set up in 1974. Globespan had over 30 years of experience with scheduled flights, chartered flights, coach and train travel, hotels and package holidays. Globespan had put particular emphasis on holidays departing from Scotland. Globespan specialised in holidays to Canada, the United States and South Africa as well as familiar Mediterranean package holiday destinations in Spain, Portugal, France and Cyprus among others.
Odyssey Holidays - ceased trading
Odyssey Holidays was a leading long haul specialist first launched in 1996 by Olympic Holidays. Olympic have a trusted name in the travel industry, having aroun for some 40 years and having been licensed by ABTA & ATOL since 1972 and 1982 respectively.

Odyssey Holidays was a sister brand to Olympic Holidays and also to hotelroomsandvillas.com. Odyssey offered a large selection of holidays with flights departing from all the major UK airports and a wide range of accommodation from luxurious 5* hotels to simple but comfortable guest houses, many of which were available on all-inclusive holidays, at prices to suit every budget.
Wings Abroad - suspended operations
As of 18th April 2012 Wings Abroad have ceased trading. A spokesperson has stated that the company has suspended operations until a new buyer for the company is secured. See here for more information.
