Airport and transport need to know
Regular flights to Torremolinos depart from most UK city airports all year round. Flying time is approximately three hours to Malaga Airport (AGP) with an airport to resort transfer time of 15 minutes. Malaga Airport facilities include duty free shopping, restaurants, cafeterias, bars as well as airport hotels and car hire. Trains run from Terminal 3 to Torremolinos every 30 minutes with a journey time of 10 minutes; fares are approximately 1.85 euros (£1.50).
A taxi rank is located at the airport and fares to Torremolinos should be 15 euros (£12); taxis are unmetered and prices should be agreed with the driver. There is the option of independently booking a private transfer car online, 24 hours prior to arriving. Self-drive is another option if you wish to explore Costa del Sol and cars can be hired independently online. The main roads in Torremolinos are in good condition and driving is on the right.

Torremolinos has over 7km of clean golden sand beaches, many of which hold the European Blue Flag status. The main beaches include Bajondillo, Playamar and the always popular La Carihuela.
