Capiliera is all about relaxation and taking a day trip through the spectacular Sierra Nevada National Park will help you achieve this. Take a tour around the largest natural park in Western Europe with guides who will point out the amazing beauty spots of the area.

There are some great restaurants in Capiliera that are popular with the locals and the holiday makers. For a great range of regional favourites and a wide selection of Spanish dishes try the ever popular Doctor Castilla restaurant. Head into the centre of town and try out the local restaurants and cafés that serve Spanish and international dishes washed down with delicious Spanish wines.

 

There are discos and bars in laid back Capiliera. A selection of pubs and discos can be found in both the town centre and the old town. Jarila nightclub has dancing until dawn while May Beunas is one of those bars to sit back, relax, sip a cooling drink and mingle with the locals.

 

There are a number of sightseeing attractions in Capiliera. Casa de Castril is regarded as one of the most spectacular Renaissance palaces in Spain with its own museum and artefacts. Don’t miss the chance to view the 16^th century monastery if taking a trip to Granada with a collection of famous works of art by Bocanegra.

 

You are only a short drive from Capiliera to the spectacular Motril and Salobrena beaches that have a number of beach front facilities including a range of water sports. Whilst in Granada why not take the opportunity to take in a round of golf at the Granada Golf Club. If you are visiting Capiliera during the winter you will benefit from being able to alternate days between skiing in the Sierra Mountains and strolling along the beach in the warm sunshine.
