Roquetas de Mar Holidays – Popular unspoilt beauty spot

If you have been looking for clean golden beaches, the sunniest climate in Spain and a more relaxed atmosphere then we may have found the perfect resort for you. Roquetas de Mar is loved by families and couples as a quieter alternative to the busier Spanish resorts. Roquetas de Mar is a mix of Blue Flag beaches, a picturesque little fishing port, a bustling daily market and little tavernas serving Spanish cuisine. But with water parks, an aquarium, go karting, golf and watersports there are still plenty of fun activities to enjoy.

A lively nightlife is also an option with the seafront area providing plenty of modern restaurants, bars and nightclubs. There are plenty of excursions available including the nearby historic city or Almeria where a high speed ferry can take you to exotic cities in Morocco in North Africa or train trips to Madrid.

One bonus of the immense south coast beaches is that crowding is rarely a problem, no matter which season of the year you choose to visit. Winter sunshine holidays are an option, and festive holidays, as well as the school holidays, are popular periods in this resort.
