Holidays in Almerimar are located in a peaceful little resort but don’t let the size fool you, there is much to see and do here. Direct flights to Almeria Airport (LEI) are available year round from major city airports in the UK including London Gatwick, Bristol, Manchester, Birmingham and Glasgow. Direct flights will take just under four hours but can be less if flying from London airports. Almeria Airport provides duty free shopping, a bar, restaurant, cafeterias and car hire. Transfer time from Almeria Airport to Almerimar should be no more than 45 minutes.

Modern metered taxis are located at the airport taxi rank. Independently pre booking a shuttlebus or private car online is one the most convenient and economical transfer options with fare prices of 23 euros (£19) per car. Hiring a car for a week is another inexpensive option if you wish to explore the area; the roads are in good condition with driving on the right hand side.
