Beaches
Playa de Pals beach typifies the fabulous beaches that can be found along the Costa Brava. A horse-shoe shaped bay of golden sand that sweeps into the warm Mediterranean Sea. This is the perfect spot for lounging in the sun, having a snack at a beachside café and of course swimming and snorkelling. The dramatic coastline provides shelter from the wind and there are plenty of small coves and bays for secluded sunbathing.
Sightseeing
Take a break from the beach and make time to view some of the sightseeing options in and around Playa de Pals. Take a romantic walk along the cliff tops or visit the Montgri Mountain with its 13th century castle. Pals and Peratallada are well worth visiting with their quaint winding streets and hidden traditional Spanish restaurants. Visit nearby Llafranc and view the beautiful marina and take a voyage along the coast on one of the yachts.
Sports Activities
With a climate this good every day is an opportunity to indulge in one of the many exciting sports available in Playa de Pals. Holiday makers can choose from tennis, scuba diving, windsurfing, and horse riding and mountain biking in the surrounding countryside. Golf lovers are well catered for with six first class golf courses in the Pals area.
Restaurants
Food and drink are taken very seriously in the Costa Brava and there is no shortage of excellent restaurants and cafes in Playa de Pals. Catalonian cuisine is a mix of influences including Roman and Spanish. The Mediterranean dishes include some fantastic seafood and fish dishes, with a speciality boasting lobster and chicken.
