Airport and Transport Need to Know

For Pineda de Mar holidays, fly to Gerona Airport (GRO) or Barcelona Airport (BCN) – just a 2-2.5 journey from the UK. There are plenty of departures from all the country’s regional airports, including London Gatwick, Heathrow, Stansted, Luton, Manchester, East Midlands, Birmingham, Cardiff, Bristol, Leeds Bradford, Liverpool, Newcastle, Glasgow and Prestwick. Gerona Airport is a small but efficient airport, located 45km from Pineda de Mar, whilst Barcelona Airport is 60km away.

 

Transfers take 40 minutes and are included on package holidays to Pineda de Mar, and there’s also a shuttle bus service to the resort, as well as taxis and car hire. Taxis carry a maximum of 4 passengers (larger vehicles available on request), with the fixed rate to Pineda de Mar costing around 50 euros (40GBP).
