Estartit Beach is regarded as one of the best beaches in the Costa Brava. This long stretch of fine sand lapped by the warm Mediterranean Sea is popular with couples and families with children. Estartit Beach is home to many popular water sports including wind surfing, diving, and sailing.

 

Golf lovers will be in heaven with the golf courses available in Estartit. Excellent golf course include Golf Serres de Pals in Pals and the spectacular Emporda Golf Resort .in Torroella de Montgri. The Emporda featured two spectacular courses set amidst lakes, dunes and a forest, and are regarded as the best courses in the Costa Brava.

 

Estartit is well known as one of the best diving locations in Europe. There are many dive schools here that will provide equipment, lessons and excursions to exciting dive sites along the Costa Brava coastline.

 

The nearby resorts of Playa d’Aro and Roses feature exciting water parks such as the Aquadiver Waterpark and Magic Park Amusement. While the children use these facilities the adults can explore the resort’s medieval market or the beer and wine festival. Estartit also has its very own funfair that will keep the children amused for hours.

 

No holiday in Estartit would be complete with excursions to exciting nearby beach resorts such as Lloret de Mar and upmarket Llafranc. Culture lovers should visit the medieval splendour of Pals or take in Figueres Salvador Dali Museum. Nightlife
Estartit boasts some excellent restaurants and a variety of different bars and clubs. This is predominantly a family resort but nightclubs and bars do open until the early hours of the morning, especially along the beach area.
