Pleasant night-time highs of around 18C mean conditions are ideal for evening walks and alfresco dining. May, June, September and October all see temperatures of between 20C – 24C, and around 7 hours of sunshine each day, with the weather still great for the beach, but the cooler temperatures ideal for outdoor activities and sightseeing.

Airport and Transport Need to Know
For Estartit holidays, you fly to Gerona Airport (GRO) with the flight taking 2-2.5 hours from the UK, and transfer time to the resort about 1 hour. There are plenty of departures from all the country’s regional airports, including London Gatwick, London Heathrow, Stansted, Luton, Manchester, East Midlands, Birmingham, Cardiff, Bristol, Leeds Bradford, Liverpool, Newcastle, Glasgow and Prestwick. Gerona Airport, a small airport with limited shops, is located 50km from the resort, and serves all resorts on the Costa Brava.

Best beach for activities - Playa Gran de l’Estartit
The main beach in the resort extends for 3km, and is well-equipped with plenty of convenient facilities, and a host of activities to try. Water sports on offer include jet-skiing, windsurfing, water skiing, diving, sailing and a number of coastal cruises, including scenic glass-bottomed boat rides along the coast.
