Denia Things To Do
Beaches
Denia beaches include three blue flag beaches, Les Deves, Les Marines and Les Rotes. Each beach is different but Les Deves and Les Marines are golden sand beaches with a range of water sports activities and surrounded by many bars and restaurants. Les Rotes beach has the perfect waters for diving and has many beautiful coves.
Nightlife
There are hundreds of bars and restaurants in Denia, many with live music and dancing into the small hours. Denia is not a big nightclub spot, so if you fancy dancing until dawn then head to Benidorm where you can sample some all night discos and clubs.
Restaurants
There is no shortage of restaurants in Denia and there will be no problem finding something to suit your taste. From traditional Spanish cuisine including tapas and fantastic seafood dishes to international restaurants serving superb steaks and simple pizzas.
Water Sports
As you would expect from the Costa Blanca coast there is a huge range of water sports in Denia. Sports include diving, sailing, wind surfing and fishing. In fact there is just about every type of water sport imaginable, and there are also diving centres available in Denia with training for beginners, and excursions for the more experienced.
Sightseeing
Nature lovers should not miss the chance to view the Montgo Mountain protected nature park. The summit of Montgo Mountain gives spectacular views as far as Ibiza. You can also take guided tours that will allow you to view archaeological findings that date back to the Neolithic era.
Golf
Golfing holidays in Denia have become very popular thanks to the excellent courses with stunning views. Try out the Oliva Novo Golf situated right next to the beach front. This 18 hole course was designed by Seve Ballesteros and takes most players at least four hours to complete. There are many other spectacular courses in the Denia area and the climate is perfect no matter what time of year you play.
