Beach
The beach at the horseshoe-shaped bay is the main focus here, and the white sands are backed by attractive pines and sheltered by limestone cliffs. As well as the beautiful setting and the child-friendly safe bathing conditions, there are convenient facilities for visitors such as beach bars, restaurants and shops.
 
Water Sports
Water sports available in the resort include jet-skiing, windsurfing, water-skiing, surfing, snorkelling, scuba diving, sea kayaking and parasailing. 
 
Golf
The island's only golf course at Son Parc is easily reached from Cala Galdana, just 30km north of the resort, and offers an 18-hole course for enthusiasts looking to play a round in the Menorcan sunshine.
 
Countryside
Visitors can explore the beautiful countryside surrounding Cala Galdana, on foot, bike or on horseback. There is a protected area outside the resort, with scenic walking and hiking paths to follow, and the whole region is popular with bird-watchers.
 
Children
Cala Galdana has a children’s play area featuring water slides and mini-golf. Families can also head to Menorca's water park, Aquarock, at Cala en Bosch. 
 
Entertainment
The resort is quiet and family-orientated, with a number of cafes and restaurants, and most entertainment being hotel-based, featuring karaoke nights, cabaret shows, and live music.
 
Day Trips
There are a number of picturesque coves to visit, such as Cala Mitjana, and Ferreries is home to a charming market. Other day trips include the old town of Ciutadella and the harbour at Mahon.
