Santa Ponsa Weather – All year round sunshine destination
Santa Ponsa is sun lover’s dream with six long summer months guaranteed to bring high temperatures. Santa Ponsa is located in the south west of Majorca and has a typical Mediterranean climate of hot dry summers with temperatures hovering between 29C and 31C. Winters are also warm with the average temperature here staying around the 15C mark. Sunshine levels are high with around 11 hours per day during the summer and six hours per day during the winter. The golden beaches at Santa Ponsa and nearby Magalluf do become very busy from May onwards. Temperatures begin to head over the 25C mark and hit their peak in July and August at around 31C. Don’t be surprised if temperatures do reach higher than this as extreme temperatures of around 35C and above have been known. Holiday makers who prefer slightly cooler temperatures of around 20C should consider a holiday in Santa Ponsa during the spring and autumn months. Whichever season you choose to visit there will be Mediterranean Sea breezes that will drift in to take the edge from the heat.

Rainfall will mainly stick to the autumn months and when it does occur it will be heavy but usually short lived.
