Sa Coma, situated on the east coast of Majorca, about 90 minutes from Palma airport, is a great all-round resort, and attracts both families and couples. A favourite with British tourists, this modern purpose-built resort has a wonderful sandy beach, an extensive range of activities, and offers a great choice of hotels and apartments. Sa Coma is linked to the small fishing village of S’Illot, and the lively resort of Cala Millor is easily accessible by tram.

Holidays in Sa Coma – Exceptional sandy beach
The long sandy beach in Sa Coma is the main attraction of the resort. Stretching for a kilometer along the coast, with white sands and lovely crystal clear waters, the beach at Sa Coma has been awarded the Blue Flag award for cleanliness, safety and facilities and offers a fantastic day out for the whole family. Watersports are available in Sa Coma, including wind-surfing, and behind the beach there is a long car-free promenade, lined with shops, bars and restaurants. At the end of the beach sits the ‘Punt de N’Amer’ – a protected nature reserve, home to indigenous flora and fauna of the area including horses, sheep, rabbits. To the other side of this is Cala Millor, connected to Sa Coma by tourist tram, with the best beach on the east coast and vibrant nightlife. On the other side of Sa Coma is the little fishing village of S’Illot, easily reached by footbridge, with a host of wonderful beachfront restaurants.


Holidays in Sa Coma – Lots to do for the family
Friendly and family-orientated, the atmosphere in Sa Coma is relaxed, yet still fun-filled. There are lots of bars and restaurants, offering everything from fish and chips to tapas, and holidaymakers will find a wealth of activities away from the beach. For the children, the resort boasts mini-golf, horse-riding, bowling, go-karting and cycling, whilst adults will enjoy golf, tennis, squash and mountain-biking. There is a safari in Cala Millor, featuring elephants, apes and giraffes, and some scenic walks throughout the area, including the hike up to the top of the watchtower in Punt de N’Amer. Boat trips depart frequently, and a visit to the famous Caves of Drac is a must whilst holidaying on Majorca.
