Puerto de Soller Weather - A Mediterranean climate
Situated on the north-east coast of Majorca, Puerto de Soller enjoys a generally Mediterranean climate with plenty of sun, relatively little rainfall and temperatures that although hot are not uncomfortable. Even in the peak season, this runs from July to early September, temperatures tend not to exceed 30C. Moreover, a light cooling breeze provides gentle relief from the peak of the heat.

It is hot enough to be outside for long periods without it becoming too tiring. For the more adventurous, the highest water temperatures are reached in July, August and September allowing holidaymakers to enjoy the water sports that Puerto Soller has to offer. What is more, the warm evenings provide the opportunity to dine al fresco on the many terraces of the eateries dotted along the shoreline.

Puerto Soller lies within the Tramuntana mountain region and any visitor must experience the varied hiking trails that the area provides. The best time to enjoy the region is from November to April when temperatures are cooler because during the hotter months it can be difficult to find shade in the mountains. As with any hiking event, expect some winds, rain showers and the odd thunderstorm in low season which is indicative of the mountainous terrain.
