Sandy Porto Cristo beach is set away from the main road in a sheltered bay. Quieter beaches and picturesque bays to each side of the town provide alternative unspoilt beaches, and can be reached by regular local coast buses. The superb natural harbour between headlands makes Porto Cristo a popular base for yachtsmen. The resort offers a good selection of cafes, bars and restaurants including some pleasant outdoor terraces with views of the quayside.
