Beaches
Camp de Mar boasts a spectacular unspoilt beach set in an expansive bay. Camp de Mar beach is without doubt one of the major attractions, backed by pine covered hills and with a floating bar and restaurant in the bay for those cool drinks and afternoon lunches. Water sports such as jet-skiing, surfing, and pedalos are available for the more energetic holiday maker.
Excursions
Camp de Mar makes an ideal base from which to explore some of the nearby exciting Majorcan towns. Santa Ponsa and Magaluf are both less than 10Km away and offer some of the best nightlife, restaurants, and shopping options on the island. Magaluf is of a course a favourite with young holiday makers thanks to its colourful vibrant nightlife and makes a good alternative to the laid back atmosphere of Camp de Mar. Palma is only a short bus ride away and contains some spectacular architecture such as the gothic cathedral that took almost 400 years to complete.
Restaurants
There are a handful of excellent restaurants in Camp de Mar offering traditional Majorcan dishes as well as some British favourites. For every type of dining option imaginable head over to Magaluf and dine in atmospheric traditional Majorcan restaurants serving excellent seafood dishes or the numerous cafes and taverns.
Sports
There is a wealth of sports available in Camp de Mar. Tennis, golf, cycling and hiking can all be arranged through the hotels. Scuba diving is also available and there are lessons and excursions available through the hotels. The bay in Camp de Mar is a perfect diving spot for beginners, and excursions to the popular northern dive sites are also available.
Theme Parks
Majorca is famous for its theme parks, and the famous Pirates Adventure Show and the Western Water Park are must visit attractions for both children and adults. Both theme parks are located in Magaluf, less than 30 minutes from Camp de Mar.
