The beautiful climate in Cala San Vicente is one of the major reasons why this resort is a favourite with the British. Although slightly cooler than Majorca’s southern coast the weather in Cala San Vicente is still hot during the summer months and mild during the short winter season. The average annual temperature in Cala San Vicente is 17C and rainfall during the summer months is a rare event. Cala San Vicente is an all year round sunshine destination and from April onwards the temperature will begin to head over the 20C mark. Days will be filled with clear blue sunny skies and the sunshine will be beating down on the beaches for an average of eight hours per day. Although the temperature is a comfortable 28C during the hottest month of August there have been record highs of 35C plus at this time of year so sun protection is vital. Very little rain will fall during the peak summer months, if at all. June, July and August will see Cala San Vicente benefiting from around 11 hours of sunshine per day.

The mild winter climate in Cala San Vicente means that a Christmas or New Year break will be a pleasurable experience. Temperatures at this time of the year will be around the 14C mark providing ample sunshine to beat the British chill back home. Easter and October breaks in Cala San Vicente are also popular, and although temperatures will be slightly cooler than the summer months it will be very easy to pick up a golden tan.
