Beaches
Cala San Vicente boasts three wonderful beaches; Cala Barques, Cala Clara and Cala Molins. Cala Barques is the more scenic and popular of the three and has an abundance of water sports activities and beachside restaurants. For a more secluded, quiet beach, head to the pretty Cala Clara located in a beautiful little bay.
Sight Seeing Attractions
There is a number of exciting sightseeing attractions close to Cala San Vicente. The old town of Pollensa is worth a visit, especially on Sunday when the market appears and haggling for bargains is expected. Walkers will be in heaven with the numerous routes through the surrounding countryside that can include a stop off at the prehistoric caves. The Inca market that takes place every Thursday is also a popular venue for grabbing souvenirs.
Restaurants
Walk down to Cala San Vicente’s beachside restaurants for the freshest seafood and fish options in Majorca. There are also numerous snack bars, cafes and taverns serving excellent homemade food including British favourites. Nearby Pollensa also has an excellent selection of first class restaurants and atmospheric taverns located along the tiny winding lanes.
Nightlife
Nightlife in Cala San Vicente is laid back affair with the bars and restaurants around the beach front providing the evening’s entertainment. For holiday makers who like their music loud then the nearby town of Alcudia will be the place for a night out. This vibrant town boasts a number of late night bars, nightclubs and live music venues.
Sports Activities
Energetic holiday makers are well catered for in Cala San Vicente. Sports available include horse riding, jet-skiing, sailing and diving. Golf is a popular sport on Majorca and there are some excellent golf courses near Cala Vicente.
