Spring sees warm weather in Majorca, with the resort of C'an Picafort enjoying temperatures of 18C - 21C during April and May, and an average of 7 - 9 hours of sunshine. This is an ideal time to beat the crowds and enjoy some outdoor activities such as visiting the local bird sanctuary and horse riding before the weather gets too hot. June sees temperatures of 25C, and during this time the waters of the Mediterranean heat up to 21C, and rise to 24C in July and August - meaning great conditions for swimming and water sports. Day time temperatures in July and August can reach up to 29C - 30C, and there is increased humidity in the resort, however the coastal breezes do help to temper the heat. Evening temperatures remain at around 19C - 20C during these peak season months, with very pleasant conditions for evening strolls and leisurely dinners outside. Summers see less than 30mm of rainfall each month.
