S'Argamassa Things To Do
The beach at S’Argamassa is a lovely sandy secluded beach set in a beautiful location amongst pine trees. It’s situated between Cala Pada and Cala Martina, a perfect beach location with beautiful clear sea to swim in. Generally the waters are clam and it’s a popular family holiday spot. It can get busy in the peak season, but if you are on a spring or autumn holiday, it’s fairly peaceful. The beach is cleaned every day and there are showers as well for public use.
Santa Eulalia & Es Cana
If you want to have a day out to try some other beaches but don’t want to walk to far, why not try the buzzing, lively resorts of Santa Eulalia and Es Cana. They are only just over a mile away from S’Argamassa, and this is a great opportunity to have a stroll along the beach.
Water Sports
In most of the resorts in Ibiza, it won’t be hard to find some water sports to do. If this is your thing, you can take your pick on a holiday in S’Argamassa. There’s lots of choice, from banana boats and pedaloes, to water-skiing and parasailing! Windsurfing is popular at nearby beaches because of the strong winds that blow in regularly but S’Argamassa beach stays relatively calm.
Days Out
If you fancy a day out from relaxing on the beach, you could take a boat trip around Ibiza and catch some wonderful views. Alternatively you could visit Ibiza Town to soak up a bit of culture. You could take a stroll along the seafront path from Santa Eularlia and, as well as some gorgeous coastline views, you’ll be able to watch some top quality pre-club action outside at Bora Bora beach before moving on past Cala Pada Beach, Cala Martina Beach and home to S'Argamassa.
Restaurants
S'Argamassa has a good selection of restaurants to suit all tastes, many of which offer delicious local fish dishes. If you’re unable to cope for more than a few days without chips, you’ll be able to satisfy your need for those too!
Shopping
There’s a decent choice of useful shops at S’Argamassa itself and more at nearby Es Cana and Santa Eulalia. Es Cana is home to the famous Wednesday hippy market where you’ll find loads of local arts and crafts – excellent for buying gifts and souvenirs - as well as interesting and unusual stuff like traditional dancing, henna tattoos and hair braiding.
Nightlife
There are some lovely bars at S’Argamassa and it doesn’t seem to get too wild there. If you want wild, take yourself down the coast a bit to Es Cana for a start then call a cab and head for San Antonio or Ibiza Town.
