Beaches
The beach in Puerto San Miguel is stunning with turquoise waters, surrounded by a large amount of local vegetation, good restaurants, a small variety of bars and shops.  It is sheltered by a backdrop of mountains.  The water is calm and perfect for a family holiday so the kids can swim safely.

The Port
The port of San Miguel is located on the north coast of Ibiza, 5 minutes away from the town of San Miguel. It is set in some very beautiful surrounding countryside and is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the major resorts. Take a trip the port for a wander around or sit at one of the many cafes and watch the boats go by.

Water Sports
As you would imagine on a holiday in Ibiza, you will find plenty to do in terms of water sports.  Due to the crystal clear seas,  water sports are popular activities to do in San Miguel.  You can try windsurfing, jet-skiing, diving and snorkelling.  There is a diving centre in San Miguel where you can hire the appropriate equipment to dive and if you can’t dive, you can go to one of the diving schools in town.

Sightseeing
There’s so much to do on a holiday in Puerto San Miguel.  If you fancy a day out, take a trip to C’an Marca caves.  You will also be spoilt with a music and light show!  Other things you could go and see Ibiza’s traditional folk dances that are performed every Thursday near San Miguel town.  Make sure to visit Ibiza Town, San Antonio and Santa Eulalia, they are all situated with a 30 minute trip from Puerto San Miguel.

Hiking & Cycling
The surrounding countryside is perfect for leisurely strolls or cycling and there are plenty of photographic opportunities to be had.  You can hire bikes in San Miguel.  Why not head for the hills, with a picnic, for something a little bit different than the beach.  Perfect for a family day out.

Restaurants
The beach front in Puerto San Miguel has a great selection of restaurants and cafes, and if you love seafood you will be in for a treat. Head over to Port Balansat for what is widely regarded as the best seafood restaurant on Ibiza. Of course there are also traditional Ibizan dishes to be had and some great British favourites.

Nightlife
You can have the best of both worlds with regards to nightlife in Puerto San Miguel. Try the laid back bars and clubs for drinks with traditional music at the beach front or head to nearby Ibiza Town where the vibrant nightlife will take your breath away.
