Ibiza Town
The capital of Ibiza is Ibiza Town (Eivissa). This is one of the most fascinating parts of the island, with lots of attractions to see and things to do. Day or night, Ibiza town is the where the concentration of all the eccentricities which have made Ibiza so famous. This busy port area is the centre for nightlife, and the marina is packed with bars and restaurants.
Dalta Vila
By day the cobbled streets of Dalta Vila (the old town) is a UNESCO world heritage site, which offers magnificent Renaissance architecture highlighted by the stunning Cathedral de Santa Maria. The magnificent 16th century walls surround the Plaza del Parque which is a perfect place for watching the world go by. The narrow streets act as a labyrinth of history, good food and shopping. By night, the beautiful streets of Ibiza Town come alive with the spectacle of party-goers provided by some of the finest clubs in the world.
Beaches
A holiday in Ibiza provides many beaches to choose from. It is not hard to get around the island of Ibiza so you will have a pick of plenty of beaches that are near to Ibiza Town. Conveniently located near to Ibiza Town are the family-friendly Figueretes and Talamanca beaches with long, sandy stretches of white sand and easy access to the surrounding bars and restaurants. Playa d’en Bossa, home of Bora Bora beach, is where the party people are found topping up their tans.
Formentera
From Ibiza Town you can enjoy a day trip to the island of Formentera. This place still retains some of its natural beauty and is a great day out from the hustle and bustle of Ibiza Town. It’s famous for miles and miles of golden sands and you get to sample some of the more traditional Balearic way of life. A perfect day out.
