The Sarpidon Apartments are deservedly popular with young holiday visitors to Malia. This small-scale family-run apartment hotel does a great job when it comes to creating a fun atmosphere while still offering good quality and friendly service. The Old Village location is just about perfect. An easy 10 minute stroll takes you to the liveliest Malia nightlife. Just far enough away to avoid constant noise and bustle. There are plenty of economical restaurants in the immediate area. Simply furnished self-catering studios and apartments are located in Greek-style whitewashed buildings close to a good-size swimming pool. The relatively small number of rooms makes for a very relaxed easy-going atmosphere. Staff work hard to get everyone in a party mood. A sociable 24 hour bar also helps! Weekly barbecues and plenty of participation games mean everyone soon gets to know each other. This is a great place for groups of friends and young couples who want to have fun. Single travellers will find it very easy to make friends. The on-site restaurant serves good food at very low prices. Bar prices are also very reasonable. The Sarpidon Apartments are almost always full of young people during the peak holiday season from mid-June through to the beginning of September. Almost everyone is here to party. Early and low season sees a considerably quieter atmosphere that will appeal to couples. The Sarpidon is a rare example of a hotel that really cares about making a lively atmosphere for young people without sacrificing standards. A highly recommended base for a fun-filled holiday in Crete.

 

An ideal location in the Old Village. There are excellent Greek tavernas in the neighbourhood. A 5-10 minute walk from the liveliest Malia nightlife action. About 15 minutes to the beach. A local mini-market is convenient for self-catering.

 

Simple studios and apartments are spacious and comfortable. Studios can sleep 2 or 3. One-bedroom apartments can sleep 4. Studios for single use are available. All accommodation comes with a kitchen area with cooking rings, fridge, toaster and kettle. All studios and apartments are equipped with air-conditioning, shower room and a balcony or terrace. There are 43 units in total.

 

The swimming pool area is kept clean and tidy. The restaurant has a good reputation. The 24 hour bar is a great spot to stop on your way out or on your way in! Staff organise barbecues, fun activities and party games. Internet access available.
