Roc Oasis Park, Menorca

Other greater beaches in the area include Macarelleta Beach, Algaiarens Beach and Son Saura Beach. Well-worth a visit is the island’s old Moorish ex-capital of Ciutadella, around 2 miles away. Ciutadella has an eclectic mix of stunning architecture, narrow cobbled streets, and beautiful squares lined with cafes. The Cathedral of Menorca is another attraction close to the hotel, affording some excellent photo opportunities. For those choosing to self-cater at the Roc Oasis, the nearest supermarket is 100m from the complex.

 

Accommodation at the Roc Oasis Park complex consists of 169 spacious, well-appointed apartments. Rooms are clean and comfortable. One bedroom apartments sleep 2-4 people and have a separate twin bedroom and living area with sofa bed. Two bedroom apartments sleep 2-6 people and have 2 twin bedrooms and a separate living area with sofa bed. All rooms come with kitchenette with stovetop, microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster, satellite TV, ceiling fan, safety deposit box, full bathroom with WC and hairdryer and balcony or terrace.

 

There is an excellent range of facilities at the hotel, starting with the attractive free-form outdoor swimming pools that dominate the central area, and the beautiful sun terraces surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation. A poolside bar served refreshments and snacks to guests lounging around the pools, while a buffet-style restaurant provides more substantial meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. A lively animation team keeps guests entertained during the day, with quizzes, pool games and sports for those who want to participate. Football, volleyball and mini-golf can all be enjoyed on-site at the hotel, while watersports can be arranged at the nearby beaches.
