Riviera Apartments, Ibiza

The Riviera Hotel is one of those good-value Spanish 3 star hotels that manages to please a broad range of holiday visitors. You will normally find an enjoyable mix of singles, couples and families of every age group. A major factor is the location. The Riviera is very close to Punta Xinxo Beach and far enough away from the hectic resort centre to ensure a relaxing holiday. Popping into the resort centre is easy with local buses and water taxis from the beach. Most visitors will divide time between excellent hotel swimming pools and the local beach, which is just a few steps from the hotel door. The immediate area has an excellent choice of shops, bars and restaurants. There are enjoyable family attractions and good opportunities for watersports, boat trips and scuba diving in the area. Everyone will want to experience the famous resort centre nightlife but there is no shortage of late night bars near the hotel. The Riviera Hotel offers a mix of conventional hotel rooms and simple self-catering holiday apartments. Accommodation and pools are very well maintained and friendly staff work hard to create an enjoyable holiday atmosphere. The summer season sees some organised activities for children and modest family entertainment. Many of the apartments have excellent sea views. Good facilities, decent apartments and a tremendous beach holiday location all add up to very good value. Expect to find very pleasant temperatures in the mid to-high-20’s throughout the long summer season and very pleasant temperatures in spring and autumn.

 

An easy 2 minute stroll from Punta Xinxó Beach. The local bus stop serves beaches on San Antonio Bay and runs into San Antonio town centre. You can also reach the resort centre by water taxi from the beach. Walking into San Antonio along the seafront takes around 20 minutes. There is a good shopping centre and plenty of bars and restaurants in the immediate area. An 18km drive from the airport.

 

All accommodation is equipped with satellite TV, air-conditioning, a fully equipped bathroom and a balcony or terrace. Many of the larger apartments on the upper floors have excellent sea views. Apartments come in different sizes and all are equipped with a self-catering kitchenette. Accommodation is kept very clean with a regular maid service.

 

A buffet-style restaurant serves breakfast and dinner. The lounge bar is a sociable evening venue and a kiosk bar serves the outdoor pools and sun terraces. Reception stays open all night for those enjoying the nightlife. Reception can organise car hire, excursions, taxis and tours. Internet access is available.
