Rimini Holidays - art, architecture and film history Rimini has many architectural features of note, many dating back to Roman times. It’s worth following a walking route to take in the Arch of Augustus, Tiberio Bridge, Castel Sismondo, Piazza Cavour and the Church of San Giovanni Evangelista. Piazza Cavour is a central square which includes a statue of Pope Paul V and the gothic Palazzo del Podesta. If you hire a car while on holiday in Rimini, head out of town to Gabicci Monte which boasts beautiful views, where you can eat in a restaurant or pizzeria overlooking the sea. The city of Rimini was admired and filmed by famous Italian film director Federico Fellini, and it is possible to take a cultural tour including the Fellini Foundation, and the funerary monument to Federico and his wife Giulietta.
