The Paladim Aparthotel offers good value, modern accommodation in a convenient location between Albufeira’s Old Town and lively main strip. This is a great option for anyone looking to save a few pennies and go self-catering, with well-equipped kitchen facilities in all rooms. Apartments are spacious and include both a living and dining area. The apartment blocks are whitewashed and built in a style reminiscent of Spanish villas. An inviting outdoor pool is surrounded by wide sun terraces and well-kept garden areas, including palm trees. The hotel has a laid-back, relaxing atmosphere, ideal for whiling away the days in the glorious Portuguese sun.

 

The Paladim Aparthotel has a fantastic central location, with the Old Town around 15 minutes’ walk away, and the lively strip 15 minutes in the opposite direction. Those after a more sedate holiday will love the cobbled streets and attractive squares lined with cafes and taverns of the Old Town, while anyone looking for lively nightlife will find plenty to suit their needs in the bars and nightclubs of the strip. There is a train stop within 150m of the hotel that runs a service to the strip and the beach for a small fee. There are two large supermarkets nearby, one opposite the hotel and one a few metres down on the same road – very convenient for those on a self-catering holiday here. There are 3 excellent beaches in the vicinity, with Fisherman's Beach and Oura Beach approximately 0.8 miles away and Santa Eulalia 1.3 miles away.

 

Accommodation at the hotel consist of 63 studios and one bedroom apartments. Rooms are spacious, clean and decorated in a contemporary style. Studios sleep 1-2 people and have a living area with sofa-bed and pull out bed, while one bedroom apartments sleep 2-4 people and have a separate twin bedroom as well as living area with sofa bed and pull-out bed.  All rooms come with well-equipped kitchenettes, including full-sized fridge-freezer, stovetop, microwave, air conditioning, TV, phone, hairdryer, safety deposit box, full bathroom with shower and WC and balcony or terrace.

 

Facilities at the hotel include a 24 hour reception, currency exchange service, internet access and even a hairdresser. There is an attractive pool area with plenty of sun loungers, set on sun terraces and amongst well-maintained gardens. Although this is self-catering accommodation, the hotel does provide a poolside bar that serves snack and drinks throughout the day. There is also a games room with snooker table and darts board, as well as mini golf and a tennis court. Due to its great location, a huge array of activities can be arranged nearby, such as bicycle rental, horse-riding, watersports, golf and fishing.
