The Top Unusual Requests Made to Virgin Atlantic Cabin Crew

With 6 million passengers flying to over 30 destinations worldwide, Virgin Atlantic’s cabin crew have had their fair share of unusual, strange and sometimes down-right bizarre requests. A recent survey of over 3,000 Virgin Atlantic cabin crew has revealed a number of contenders for ‘strangest request on a Virgin flight’. The survey reports, amongst others, that the most common requests include ‘please can you open the window?’ and ‘can you show me the showers?’

Ahead of the rest in terms of pure craziness, these examples are these requests reported to Virgin Atlantic cabin crew members:

1)       I have dropped my glass eye, please could you help me find it?
2)       Could you turn the engines down because they are too noisy?
3)       Please can I have a cup of tea and book a massage for my Barbie doll?
4)       Please can the captain stop the turbulence?
5)       Can you take my children to the playroom?
6)       Please could you fix my hair?
7)       Is there a McDonald’s on-board?

Customer relations manager at Virgin Atlantic, Caroline Lynam, stated: “Virgin Atlantic crew will always go that extra mile to offer our customers the best possible service but there are some requests that even we find somewhat challenging!'
