Ryanair Anounce Aggressive Expansion Plans For 2008

ryanair flightsRyanair have announced aggressive expansion plans for 2008 with CEO Michael O'Leary predicting that almost 60 million passengers will enjoy Ryanair flights in 2008 as a result of 50 new routes that are set to open next year. 

The additional routes from seven UK airports will run from Birmingham, Durham Tees Valley, Edinburgh, Liverpool, Stansted, Manchester and Newquay, bringing the cheap flights operator’s network for summer 2008 up to more than 600 routes.

The new routes from the UK are as follows: 

Birmingham to Barcelona (Girona), Marseille & Pisa.
Durham Tees Valley to Alicante.
Edinburgh to Alicante, Bremen, Frankfurt, Marseille & Pisa.
Liverpool to Malaga & Nantes.
Stansted to Angouleme & Faro.
Manchester to Barcelona (Girona), Bremen, Marseille & Milan.
Newquay to Alicante & Barcelona (Girona). 

Ryanair has also announced a sale which promises two million available seats priced at £10 for any bookings made by midnight on Thursday 20th December.
