Location

The hotel is found in a tranquil, secluded location on the shoreline overlooking Lassi Bay. The small, sleepy village of Lakithra is around 250m from the complex, where there is a sprinkling of bars and tavernas. Around 200m from the hotel is a small shingle beach. A mini bus runs from the complex to Argastolli daily at 11.45am and returns at 2.00pm.The large resort of Lassi is approximately 8km away, and boasts two of the best beaches on Kefalonia; the long sandy Makrys Yalos and Platys Yialos beaches. Lassi has plenty of bars, restaurants tavernas and shops, and is a friendly family-orientated resort. The area is surrounded by citrus and olive groves, and is very flat making it ideal for walking or cycling. There are also numerous sandy coves and secluded bays along this area of coast.

Accommodation at the Mouikis consists of 4 studios and 2 apartments. All are self-contained and built in an attractive low-rise villa style. Studios sleep 2-3 people and come with both a double bed and single bed. Three bedroom apartments sleep 2-7 people and have 3 separate twin or double bedrooms and an extra sofa or camp bed. All rooms are fully equipped with a kitchenette with 2 cooking rings, microwave, toaster, kettle, sandwich maker and fridge, air conditioning, TV, radio, telephone, internet connection, full bathroom with WC and terrace.

The complex has a good range of basic facilities. There is the crystal clear pool with its separate children’s section, surrounded by sun terraces. Guests can also choose to wander around the beautiful gardens to find a shady spot to relax in. A poolside bar serves snacks, cocktails and other refreshing drinks. There is free internet access in the reception area. Additional facilities include a lounge area with TV and a children’s play area.

Board: This is primarily a self-catering complex, but the poolside bar does serve snacks and light meals. There is a small mini market in Lakithra for essentials and bigger supermarkets in Lassi and Argastolli. Lakithra has around 4-5 restaurants and Lassi has a huge array of different dining establishments. Visitors will find the restaurants and bars generally cheaper at Lakithra.

Children: There is a children’s section of the pool and children’s play area.
