The Montemar Hotel is situated in a residential area around a 5 minute walk from the long, sandy beach. Once at the beach, there is a range of watersports to try and an attractive promenade running parallel to the sea with restaurants and cafes looking out across the water. There is a well-stocked super market a stone’s throw from the hotel, great for those who choose to self-cater. The bars, clubs, taverns and shops of the resort centre are around 300m from the complex. The neighbouring town of Maspalomas is worth a visit, with its stunning sand dunes, lighthouse and nature reserve.

 

Accommodation at the Montemar Hotel consists of 21 one-bedroom apartments and 21 two bedroom apartments, set across 3 floors. Rooms are spacious, provide a large balcony or terrace and are cleaned regularly. One bedroom apartments sleep 1-3 adults and have a living room with sofa bed as well as a separate twin bedroom. Two bedroom apartments sleep 2-5 adults and have a living room with sofa bed and have 2 separate twin bedrooms. All rooms come with a kitchenette with a 4-ring hob, kettle and toaster, coin-operated satellite TV, safety deposit box, full bathroom with WC and balcony or terrace.

 

The Montemar Hotel provides the good range of basic facilities that one would expect from a cheap self-catering complex in the heart of a busy resort. There is a large, rectangular swimming pool and adjacent children’s pool with surrounding sun terrace. A poolside bar serves snacks and drinks throughout the day. On on-site mini-market provides essential supplies for self-catering guests. The hotel offers a laundry service, internet access and car parking.
