A holiday transfer could mean getting a taxi from the airport to your hotel, connecting between one airport and another, or having to change planes, but there’s no reason why this should be a problem. With a little research – which our website makes easy – you should be able to book a holiday with travel arrangements that suit you. Of course our holidays do usually include the quickest, simplest journey to the holiday destination, but sometimes, especially on long-haul holidays  or destinations that are ‘off the beaten track’, it will be necessary to change planes. If you do have to take another flight, you can be sure that waiting times will be kept to a minimum. For some travellers, though, particularly those on an exotic all-inclusive holiday – which could include the tropical islands of the Maldives or the Seychelles – the transfer should be an exciting part of the holiday, perhaps even involving a speedboat or seaplane. And on an all-inclusive holiday this would obviously be included in the cost.

Travelling should be an enjoyable experience, and your holiday transfer should be part of that. Even if it’s only a coach from the airport, it means that you are not far from your holiday destination, so it’s a chance to relax and get acclimatised to your new environment. For those who arrive without a re-arranged holiday transfer, there is almost always plenty of choice of transport from major airports where public transport is usually good and a number of independent taxi and coach companies may also be competing for business – which helps keep costs down. Even at the many small regional airports now served by the low-cost airlines new transfer companies have sprung up to meet demand.
