Souk is the Arabic word for Market. Dubai City has attracted merchants from as far as India, Iran, Africa and so many other countries since the 19th century. Entertainment

Dubai is the best resort for visitors who want to enjoy the life under the sun. There are so many activities for visitors in Dubai such as the Desert Safari. Wadi-driving activity is another choice for which involves exploring the wadis and dry areas of streams that flow after rain from the Hajar Mountains. Other entertainment activities are dune driving and skiing.

Parks

There are a lot of water parks in Dubai City. The most famous parks in Dubai are Wild Wadi, Wonder Land and Magic Planet. There is a lot of fun for families in these parks as all of these parks have been more of a shelter for those wanting to escape the heat of the desert. 

There are a lot of Mosques in Dubai but the most famous place is the Jumeirah Mosque which is located near to the beach of Dubai. This mosque is gleaming example of Muslim architecture. The mosque is built with white stone in entirety and the two longest minarets reach skyward.

Burj Nahar

Burj Nahar was built in the 19th century. This Burj was constructed for defence from eastern network. This is a beautiful and adorable hotel made in the heart of the sea. This hotel is really beautiful and well worth a visit. 

One entertainment one should not miss out on is the Camel racing. This race will only take place in mid-October to mid-April but the event brings in crowds of thousands to watch the show piece. This race is related with old style games. This race is held on Nad Al Sheba race track.
