The complex is situated in a peaceful area of Side, just a 10 minute walk from the long sandy beach. The shops, restaurants, bars and cafes of the resort are easily accessible by Dolmus, with services running every 5-10 minutes from outside the hotel. Side is an ancient city with origins dating back to the 7^th century BC, and as such there are numerous historical sites of interest to visit, including the Temple of Apollo at the end of the resorts peninsula, impressive ruins of an ancient theatre complex and the Great Gate in the middle of Side’s main street. The stunning Manavgat Waterfall is also close to Side and makes for a fantastic day out.

 

Accommodation at the Melissa Gardens Apartments consists of 74 simple but spacious apartments set in attractive blocks around the pool the area. One bedroom apartments sleeping 2-4 people have a living area with 2 sofa beds, plus a separate twin or double bedroom. Two bedroom apartments sleeping 2-5 people have a living area with 2 sofa beds, a separate twin or double bedroom and an additional second bedroom. All rooms come with a kitchenette with cooking rings, a fridge and kettle, telephone, full bathroom with WC and balcony or terrace.

 

The centre piece of the hotel is the attractive bean-shaped pool, around which wide sun drenched terraces provide the perfect place for relaxing in the sun. A poolside bar serves refreshments for those lounging around the pool, and a café serves snacks. There is a Turkish Bath for those looking to relax, as well as a games room and lounge area with satellite TV. Regular evening entertainment is put on, including karaoke, bingo, magic shows live music and Turkish barbecue nights.
