Location
Both hotels are located in a central position in San Antonio, just a two-minute walk from the nearest beaches. S'Estañol beach is around 100 m away while Es Pouet beach is about a 150m walk. The nearest shops and restaurants are 100m away, and the nearest bar less than 50m. A ferry service runs to San Antonio resort centre and a number of beaches and cover. The resort centre is just over a mile away by land and easily accessible either by taxi or on foot. Once there, there are a number of cafes, restaurants and bars to enjoy and of course at night, the area becomes one of the world’s most famous clubbing locations, with clubs like Es Paradise and Eden attracting huge crowds.
Accommodation
Accommodation at the Mar Amantis Hotel is basic but comfortable. There are 132 guest rooms at the Mar Amantis I and 162 guest rooms at the Mar Amantis II. Rooms sleep 2-4 people and have 2 single beds plus extra beds. All rooms come with air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, safety deposit box, full bathroom with WC and balcony or terrace. There are a limited number of single rooms available to book at a supplement.
Facilities
Guests benefit from the extensive facilities available at both hotel complexes. There is an attractive free-form swimming pool at Mar Amantis II with a kids section, and a large rectangular pool with a separate children’s splash pool at Mar Amantis II. Both hotels have spacious sun terraces with plenty of sun loungers. The hotels share a buffet restaurant, lounge bar, and gym. The reception at Mar Amantis II is open 24 hours. Families will be better served by Mar Amantis I, where there is good daytime children’s entertainment, a children’s playground and it is much quieter at night. Shared leisure facilities include internet, pool tables, TV rooms, mini golf, games room and table tennis.
