Paradise Bay Weather

The summer weather in Paradise Bay is simply perfect for a beach holiday. Between the months of May and October, you can comfortably expect to lie on the sandy beach with the temperature being around 22C in those early summer months. The opportunities to take a cooling dip being especially needed during the months of July and August when temperatures rise to an average of 29C. You do need to make sure you are prepared for possibly extreme temperatures in August when soaring heats of 40C are not unheard of. September and October are much more comfortable for those who are looking for something a little less extreme with the temperature dropping to a perfect 24C – 27C.

 

For those wishing to explore the historical Malta or perhaps fancy a more active walking holiday taking in the stunning views of Gozo on the walks around Paradise Bay, then the spring and autumn months are perfect with plenty of sunshine, cooler temperatures and the benefit of the pleasant sea breezes. There is never much rain in Malta, but you can expect to see a centimetre or two during the months of April and May, but certainly not enough to impair your holiday.

 

During the winter you can still expect to get a suntan with an average of six hours of sunshine and temperatures still very rarely falling below 15C. It may prove a little chilly for sunbathing, but would still offer a pleasant alternative to the UK winter and would be very comfortable to enjoy outdoor activities such as walking. With the use of a wetsuit, the dive centres around Paradise Bay would be happy to take you SCUBA diving all year round.
