Luna Park, Costa Brava

The hotel is situated around 250m from the nearest sandy beach, off the main strip in a quiet, peaceful area, but within easy walking distance of the resorts amenities. There are a number of sights to see around the town, including the Old Fish Market (Peixateries velles), the impressive El Castell and the 16th century Church of St Nicolau. The Waterworld waterpark is around 30 mins away on the free bus that runs from near the complex. Transfer from Barcelona El Prat Airport to the hotel takes around 45 minutes.

 

Accommodation at the Luna Park consists of 147 clean and comfortable guestrooms. Rooms are spacious, bright and well-appointed. All rooms come with air-conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, safety deposit box, full bathroom with WC and jetted bathtub and balcony or terrace.

 

There are a good range of facilities at the complex, with guests able to also take advantage of all the amenities on offer in the hotels sister hotel, the Luna Club. The centre piece of the hotel has to be the huge, attractive lagoon-style pool. Surrounded by lush tropical vegetation and wide, spacious sun terraces, the pool area provides the perfect spot for relaxing in the sun. Aside from the main swimming pool, there two additional outdoor pools and heated indoor pool. A fitness room offers free Pilates and yoga lessons as well as therapeutic fitness sessions. There is a Jacuzzi, massage service and gym. Active guests can make use of the table tennis and pool tables or volleyball court, while nearby there is a tennis court, horse riding and bicycle hire. There are two bars; one poolside and one garden bar, and a buffet restaurant with kid’s menu, vegetarian dishes and show cooking. Daytime activities are run on a daily basis including aquagym, dance classes, tai chi, Pilates, volleyball tournaments and bike tours along the coastline.
