Lambis Studio, Rhodes

The Lambis Studios have a fantastic peaceful location on the outer edges of picturesque Lindos. The hotel is situated on a hill, so those with walking difficulties should be aware that taxis may be required when returning here after a day out. It’s elevated position means the complex affords breath-taking views down to coast and out to the deep blue sea in the distance, while impressive mountains form the backdrop behind. Lindos itself is beautiful – like stepping into a Greek postcard. Tiny brilliant white Greek houses, narrow cobbled streets, shady tavernas and plenty of Mediterranean charm make this by far the prettiest village on the island. Lindos climbs up from the coast, up a hillside until it reaches the clifftop ruins of the Acropolis – once here, you’ll be blown away by the breath-taking views out to sea. The town centre is a 15 minute downhill walk and to get to the beach at St Paul’s takes a further 10 minutes’ walk.

 

The Lambis is a relatively small, intimate hotel. Accommodation here consists of 46 spacious, light and airy rooms. Studios up to 2 or 4 people and come with twin beds. All rooms have air conditioning and a safe (both available for a surcharge), a kitchenette with 2 electric cooking rings, fridge, toaster and kettle, TV, hairdryer, bathroom with shower and WC, and balcony or terrace. There is a maid service 6 times a week, with towels and linen changed twice weekly. 

 

The Lambis has everything you’d expect from a 3-star hotel and more. There is a large swimming pool, with wide surrounding sun terraces that are kept immaculately clean. Due to its elevated position, the hotel affords spectacular views across the hillside. A poolside bar serves refreshments and snacks, and offers a menu of light meals that is highly rated in reviews. The whole complex is set in stunning gardens, with fragrant Mediterranean flowers, shrubs and trees. The hotel puts on a weekly Greek Night, with authentic Greek cuisine served and entertainment including singers and Greek dancing. Other useful facilities include public internet access and a children’s paddling pool.

 

Sports and Leisure 

Board: Guests can opt to self-cater using facilities provided in rooms, buy meals at the poolside bar/restaurant, or take the short trip into Lindos to dine out at the selection of restaurants there.

Children: There is a children’s paddling pool. Cots are available on request. Children’s prices are available for 2-16 year olds.
