Weather in Paciano - Mild climate in Umbria, ideal for olive growing
Located in western Umbria, the little town of Paciano lies just outside Lake Trasimeno and an hour from Perugia. Sitting on a hilltop surrounded by verdant olive groves, the town experiences a mild Mediterranean climate, with the region's weather a large factor in the area's vast olive production. Paciano enjoys an average annual temperature of 18C, and a steady amount of rainfall throughout the year.

Umbria, along with its neighbour Tuscany, attracts many visitors during the blooming spring months, when there are fewer crowds and the warm dry days are ideal for sightseeing and touring. April and May see temperatures of 17C - 22C, and 6 - 8 hours of sunshine, with around 70mm of rainfall. Evenings can be chilly at this time, with the spring months experiencing night-time temperatures of only 10C. Early summer sees temperatures of 26C in June, rising to 29C in July and August, with these peak season months still receiving between 40mm - 60mm of rain each month, and humidity levels remaining moderate. Evening temperatures in Paciano are much warmer in the summer, hovering around 15C - 16C.
