Weather in Vinci - Pleasant climate in the Tuscan countryside
The little town of Vinci sits between Florence and Pistoia in rural Tuscany, positioned on a hilltop amidst the rolling green hills. Like most of inland Tuscany, the town experiences a mild temperate climate, with warm spring weather and hotter summers, and enjoys an average annual temperature of 19C. Any time of year can be spent touring the town, with its historic sites devoted to the great man, with the low season seeing fewer crowds.
Vinci Weather - Dry summers with plenty of sunshine, ideal for exploring
Spring sees wonderful warm weather in Vinci, and is the ideal time for scenic walks, bike rides and horseback rides in the stunning Tuscan countryside, as well as tours of the sights. April enjoys highs of 18C, and 6 hours of sunshine each day, with May seeing temperatures rise to 23C, and the sunshine hours rise to 8. Rainfall levels hover around 70mm during April and May, and the night-time temperature stays at around 7C - 11C. There's a marked increase in sunshine in June, and throughout the summer the town is blessed with 9 - 10 hours of sun each day. Temperatures reach 26C in June, rising to 30C in July and August, and the evenings see pleasant highs of 17C. Humidity does increase in the peak season months, but never reaches very uncomfortable levels. July is the driest month, receiving an average of 30mm of rain.
Weather in Vinci - Spring and autumn, warm with fewer crowds
September remains very warm in Vinci, with highs of 26C and 7 hours of sunshine, dropping to 20C in October with 5 hours of sun, however the weather is still great for exploring the town and its surrounding countryside. Autumn sees the start of increased rainfall, bringing around 70mm during September and October, rising to 115mm during November - the wettest month. Temperatures in the winter are between 9C - 14C, with January being the coldest month and the sun only shining for 3 hours each day.
